A 5000-year-old Secret
Stemming from a branch of yoga and ayurveda, holistic medicines, this dye process originated in the Indian Vedas over 5000 years ago. These artisanal families in Kerala have passed down their in-depth knowledge of holistic plants and colouring techniques through 100s of generations.
Initially, these dyes were used to simply minimize illnesses on organic cottons but now are widely lauded for their water efficiency, eco-friendly ingredients and to support incredible artisans that are masters in their trade.
